The Aloha Blessing is a traditional Hawaiian ceremony, often led by a spiritual leader called a "Kahu", that invokes gratitude and positive energy and expresses blessings for a person, place, or event by calling upon the spirits of the land and ancestors, essentially signifying a cleansing of energies and an appeal for good fortune and well-being; it's often accompanied by chants and the presentation of a lei, symbolizing love and respect.

Kahu Vene is a dedicated cultural advocate and community leader with deep ties to Hawaiian traditions. A graduate of Kamehameha Schools (class of 1987), Vene has significantly contributed to preserving Hawaiian culture, particularly in language, history, and environmental stewardship. He’s had a lifelong passion for outrigger canoeing, sailing, and voyaging, which reflects his reverence for ancient navigation practices. As a talented actor and performer, Vene starred as the High Chief in the production “Ulalena - Story of Our People” from 2007 to 2018 and has been a guardian and builder of the historic Ko’ie’ie Fishpond since 2007, underscoring his commitment to cultural preservation.As the founder of the Hawaiian Outrigger Experience (HOE), Vene promotes appreciation for Hawaiian traditions through direct engagement. His involvement in Pa Ku’i A Holo, a Hawaiian martial arts school, reflects a holistic approach to personal and communal growth. Additionally, Vene serves as a Cultural Advisor for the Waokele reforestation project in West Maui, enhancing native plant restoration efforts. Beyond cultural initiatives, he also officiates weddings in Hawaii, celebrating love and aloha while honoring traditions. Driven by an unwavering passion, Vene inspires future generations to cherish and uphold the rich practices defining Hawaiian heritage.

Kahu Alalani Astara Hill of Hawaiian Ceremonies is a Kahuna trained Minister and Medicine women. She has officiated over 3200 Ceremonies on Maui. Kahu Alalani specializes in traditional and ancient Hawaiian Blessings. She is known globally for her Sacred Ceremonies and Blessings. You can feel the Aloha Spirit flow through her. She offers Ground breaking ceremonies: for Building with ‘O’o (digging sticks). For Homes, Complexes, Businesses, Renovations etc. Hawaiian Blessings for New Home and purchases, as well as Blessing in Communities and Subdivisions. Including Grand openings, Events, Vehicles of the Ocean, Land and Air. Every Blessing she does is unique and includes Pule Ho'omaka (opening prayer) & Pule Ho'oku'u (closing prayer).
